Taster

Nose: Farmyard. Wet straw, wet washing. Some bready notes behind. Strangely funky.

Palate: Good layering. Very soft. Charred smoke. Clean heat. Fresh with a little caramel, hazelnut, slight saltiness, then bran.

Finish: Crisp.

Comment: Odd nose but decent palate.

Score: 7.5

Taster

Nose: Citrussy with an off note. Some lactic sourness. Orange drop. Cereal bowl. Cut grass. Not very expressive.

Palate: Sweet at first then a sour note. The fresh citrussy note of the nose is not there.Water enhances a cardboard flavour.

Finish: Dry, harsh. With a bitter aftertaste.

Comment: Difficult to assess this whisky. It does not reveal definite aromas, just a feel of hardness. Not inviting.
