Tasting Notes

Taster

Nose: Round, soft and sweet with a dry oak/sawdust note behind. There’s some cedar and lots of banana. Peeled bark and very soft fruits.

Palate: Crisp and quite tight and grippy but there’s a luscious quality that pulls it through. Gentle, creamed coconut.

Finish: Slightly dry.

Comment: Attractive and worth a look.

Score: 7.9

Taster

Nose: Another basket of fruit here. On the exotic side. Bergamot, mango, guava. All wrapped in a vanilla syrup.

Palate: Rich, velvety. A little waxy. Fruity but with an oaky note. With a spicy kick. White pepper.

Finish: Dry, orangey.

Comment: A comforting and well structured dram. Smooth yet crisp. Water flattens it and takes all the nerve away.
