Nose

Green apple, fried fish, oyster mushroom, fennel and slightly burnt toast with butter. Apricots in yoghurt sweetened with blossom honey.

Palate

Light. Ripe orchard fruits: fresh pears, apples and plums. A real sweet nuttiness, like praline, and wholemeal bread. Milk chocolate. Some mushroom-y umami.

Finish

Medium, on notes of almond, baked pear and chocolate.

Comment

A pleasing blended malt with plenty of character and smoke.
