Nose

Perfumed and marine: hot seashells, medicinal, pancetta. Water (and it can take a fair bit) brings out smoke, fennel seed/anise, nut, wet grass, pepper.

Palate

Sweet with gingery spices. The smoke builds and builds on top of the oily texture.

Finish

Long, smouldering.

A young, in-your-face style that still has some complexity. Really delivers on the palate.
