Nose
The sweet-sour mix of buttermilk pancakes. There’s a real acidity here: freshly squeezed lemons and citrusy honey, alongside a touch of smoke and vanilla pods.
Palate
Woody smoke like you get on Japanese bincho-tan, plus croissants and apricot Danish.
Finish
Lengthy with that intense smoke and some plasters, alongside pineapples.
Comment
One for those who really enjoy a peaty dram that presents a great balance of sweet and smoke.
