If Wray and Nephew did whisky. Solid flavours and pleasingly spirit-forward, but a touch hot.

Taster
Nose: A little prickly. Freshly sawn oak, hand lotion, coconut oil, unbroken lemon rind, cloudy apple juice, and buttery vanilla cookie and granola notes.
Palate: Light-medium bodied, but with immediate lime sherbet zing! Lots of lemon and lime peel, then green apple, celery, cantaloupe, white grape and elderflower.
Finish: Drying, but that citrus makes you salivate. Becomes grassy, even (dare I say) sugarcane-y.
Comment: If Wray and Nephew did whisky. Solid flavours and pleasingly spirit-forward, but a touch hot.
Score: 7.6
Taster
Nose: Honey water, chamomile, elderflower, a little sawdust, cream cheese, and tart apple. Vanilla sponge cake and caramelised white chocolate.
Palate: Medium-bodied. Thick-set honey, fresh raspberry, and fluffy pancakes. Banana split with vanilla cream and flaked almond. A little black pepper, lemon peel, and zesty coriander seed.
Finish: Long, on notes of lemon posset and poppy-seed rye cracker.
Comment: Its crisp, refreshing profile (and notable proof) would make it well suited for longer drinks.
Score: 8.1
