Rich in fruit obviously but the influence of sauternes cask does not seem as obvious as with the previous sample. The raisins note is more present on the nose.

Palate: Velvety. Quite thick. Sweet at start. Milk chocolate with raisins and nuts. Then releasing a flame of spices.

Finish: Spicy. Warm. Touch of Tabasco.

Comment: Rich in fruit obviously but the influence of sauternes cask does not seem as obvious as with the previous sample. The raisins note is more present on the nose.

Taster

Nose: Vibrant and fruity. Pears and apples poached in cider. A little almond there too.

Palate: Lush and dense. Moves from a sweet start, with poached fruit to a spiced kick at the end.

Finish: Warming and moreish.

Comment: The sauternes influence is still there but the malt character is more dominant. Very pleasant though.
