ABV 46%
Rich in fruit obviously but the influence of sauternes cask does not seem as obvious as with the previous sample. The raisins note is more present on the nose.

Palate: Velvety. Quite thick. Sweet at start. Milk chocolate with raisins and nuts. Then releasing a flame of spices.
Finish: Spicy. Warm. Touch of Tabasco.

Nose: Vibrant and fruity. Pears and apples poached in cider. A little almond there too.
Palate: Lush and dense. Moves from a sweet start, with poached fruit to a spiced kick at the end.
Finish: Warming and moreish.
Comment: The sauternes influence is still there but the malt character is more dominant. Very pleasant though.
Score: 8.5
