Bristling with all those flavour spikes that make the Peat Freaks grin. Like a mint choc chip and peat ice cream.

Taster

Nose: Youthful and intense with plenty of peat, wet grass and fish oil.

Palate: Dark chocolate and sweet vanilla. Earthy and grassy, with silky, creamy mint. Like peat-flavoured bubblegum.

Finish: Earthy.

Comment: Bristling with all those flavour spikes that make the Peat Freaks grin. Like a mint choc chip and peat ice cream.

Taster

Nose: Fragrant smoke, light tar, wet grass, burning fish boxes. In time there's Old English marmalade and fish oils and a hint of seaweed.

Palate: Immediate thrust of smoke with lots of oil, leather, plum and a vanilla smoothness. Long layered and balanced.

Finish: Superb length.

Comment: Here we go again...Caol Ila hits the nail on the head yet again.
