Tasting Notes

Dave Broom

Taster

Nose: Acetone and burning plastic. Light and rumlike fragrance. Citrus oils.

Palate: A positive change from that slightly odd nose. Scented grass, apple blossom. A lacy feel to it. A drift of smoke just discernible.

Finish: Gentle and sweet. Orchard fruit.

Comment: One for the palate and not the nose.

Score: 7.5

Taster

Nose: A perfumed fruitiness, like a very ripe and fragrant pear. Lemon fudge.

Palate: A viscous, oily texture, and more of that lovely pear and some apple crumble.

Finish: Sponge cake.

Comment: Good sipping malt with pleasing sweetness and satisfying texture.
