A good mouthful. OK, its not hugely demanding but a great introduction.

Tasting Notes

Dave Broom

Taster

Nose: A little soapy without water, but with attractive perfumed floral notes and a hint of tangerine. Water pulls out some butter toffee, cream and orange/mint.

Palate: A lovely soft, grassy start which then opens into a lovely interplay between the soft toffee centre and the high citric notes. Good weight.

Finish: Pretty short which lets it down a little.

Comment: A good mouthful. OK, its not hugely demanding but a great introduction.

Score: 7.5

Taster

Nose: Peach or orange blossom. Lemon. Hazelnuts.

Palate: Pancakes with cream. Orangey. Buttercups. Herbal.

Finish: Tingly dryness.

Comment: Delicately balanced. Clean. Drinkable. There is an element of luxury, but never quite the frisson of luxury that the marketing implies.
