Nose

Fresh and citrusy, but made up of very light aromas: kiwi, cut grass, straw, hay barns. Melons and grapefruit, with the lemon curd note and vanilla dominating later.

Palate

Better than the nose thick spirit delivering oranges, salted caramel, olive oil, apricots and raisins, with some peppery, clove-like warmth that isn’t too tannic. Grassy, herbal; dried tea.

Finish

Short on fun, but long on the blander grassy and citrus notes.

Comment

Pleasing. Strength brings intensity of flavours it wouldn’t otherwise have.
