The BenRiach Distillery Company
ABV 43%
The bourbon cask influence is obvious. A refreshing dram but simplistic. Water ruins it.

Taster
Nose: Light and fragrant. Perfume-like. Hyacinth. American cream soda, apple pie. Balanced, vanilla, oakiness. Some weight and complexity.
Palate: Sweet and direct with an unctuous feel. Apples, raspberry shifting into papaya and, with water, peanut oil. Blossom-like.
Finish: Fresh, clean and zesty.
Comment: Seems delicate but has real presence.
Score: 8.3
