ABV 46%
A delightful whisky full of spice and sweetness. For me, I would hang on to this until Summer is slowly slipping away.

Nose: Full-on boxes of trail mix and honey flapjacks, oats, apricots, dried pineapple and coconut. A slowly building spice character, honey chilli peanuts.
Palate: Still following the nose with all that cereal creamy goodness, brown sugar and tablet sweetness. Toffee apples and bags of treacle toffee sweets.
Finish: Takes a little time as lots of autumnal notes build with a hint of drying tobacco leaf.
Comment: A delightful whisky full of spice and sweetness. For me, I would hang on to this until Summer is slowly slipping away.

Taster
Nose: Fatty and oily with sunflower and pumpkin seeds, but with a dense dried fruit character of sultanas, banana chips and cranberries. There’s a rich spiciness to it too, all cinnamon, clove and muscovado sugar as well.
Palate: It’s nuttier here, and fruitier too, like a densely populated fruitcake topped with glacé cherries, crushed cashews and dried apple pieces.
Finish: Currants and Brazil nuts laced with a delicate spice.
Comment: An enjoyably fruity Highlander, its spice makes it perfect for an Old Fashioned.
Score: 7.9
