Tasting Notes

Taster

Nose: Almost a walk through fresh cut fields of barley and turned soil. Earthy and then things start to get a little juicy fruity, with caramalised orange and chilli grilled pineapple. Oak started to grip a little as well.

Palate: All that fruit floods in, candied peel, blood orange, the spiciness of preserved lemons. There's hints of Danish pastries too, custard, almonds and apricot jam.

Finish: Short and dries with that grippy oak.

Comment: Sure evidence that there is some cracking stuff coming out of England.

Score: 8.7

Taster

Nose: Cut grass and morning dew, Victoria sponge, lemon curd and nectar honey giving it a lovely powdery finish. Mango and nectarine start to cut through the grassy tones followed by soft hints of fresh wood shavings.

Palate: A sweet and sour, a nutty oakiness, soft sweet fruits. Slight acetone note that disappears with a touch of water. Baked pears, lemon zest, marzipan and salted caramel.

Finish: Short and abrupt.

Comment: Back and forth on the taste buds making sure it hits every single receptor.
