Nose

Darker in colour. Full and wooded. Powdered rye, light hint of beeswax, rye bread, melting chocolate, camphor. Becomes fruitier in time. Bittersweet and complex.

Palate

Assertive. High acidity and grip. Fruit-filled mid-palate. Bold rye kick, that mix of rhubarb bitterness and a nodule of sweetness giving balance.

Finish

Long and very spicy.

Big and inviting but with a dangerous gleam in the eye. Now who does that sound like?
