Tasting Notes

Martine Nouet

Taster

Nose: Pure, clean and fresh. Malty and minty. Green apple. Freshly squeezed tangerine. Hint of resin. Tantalizing. Honeycomb.

Palate: Deceptively sweet. Spices burst in a beautiful circus of warm flavours. Drier than expected from the nose but still so satisfying.

Finish: Dry, spicy. Toasted almond with an oaky grip.

Comment: A model of balance and elegance. A first class Speysider.

Score: 8.8

Taster

Nose: Creamy and quite simple. Lightly floral, green apple, nut, sap. Water brings out copper coins.

Palate: Lifted, slightly smoky (burnt grass). Firm, toasty oak, heather. Peppery from mid-palate on.

Finish: Hot and peppery. Nettle.

Comment: Seems young.
