Nose: Sherried. Flowering currant. Walnut stain. Coffee grounds. The sharpness of oak is soothed by sweet notes of dried fruit.
Palate: Sweet then bitter. The same two-step dance as on the nose. Sherry weights on the aromatic profile.
Finish: Lingering,spicy,bitter. Dark chocolate.

Nose: Glowing mahogany. Rich and sweet, malt loaf studded with moist raisin. A hint of sulphur giving some lift. Bitter orange peel. Layered.
Palate: Treacle toffee melting across the tongue. Light grip,whiff of cigar smoke Chewy. Equally good with\rwater,coffee,light chestnut mushroom. Elegant.
Finish: Long,silky touch of smoke.
Comment: A generously proportioned beauty.
