All was going so well then the finish undoes all the good work. Ultimately unbalanced. Still at least my breath smells minty fresh.

Nose: All sorts of interesting angles here. Mature, leathery, brown apples, dusty bready/yeasty, then a fudgey note mixed with black grape.
Palate: Sweet, then cardamom. Lightly perfumed and some woods then out of nowhere comes a toothpaste like mintiness.
Finish: Minty with some chocolate.
Comment: All was going so well then the finish undoes all the good work. Ultimately unbalanced. Still at least my breath smells minty fresh.

Nose: Mature, fruity with honeyed tones. Beeswax, polished floor. Touch of new saddle. A fragrant herbal note in the back. Red fruit herbal tea. White pepper.
Palate: Round with a palatable oiliness. Honeyed fruit as well as on the nose. No oaky edges. Perfectly smooth.
Finish: Warm, spicy, uplifting.
Comment: A rich, complex character. Seems to have captured a full aromatic palette.
Score: 8.8
