Nose
A lot of butterscotch — definitely into Werther’s territory here. There’s some nuttiness — perhaps a caramel-covered roasted pecan — and some freshly baked pastry.
Palate
There’s a touch of something sooty, making it more complex than anticipated from the nose. A nice sugar-water sweetness, alongside honey, almonds, and brioche.
Finish
Fairly short. The sweetness sticks around.
Comment
Extremely drinkable and easygoing — a nice bit of richness on the palate takes it up a notch.
