Nose

There’s a brightness here which reminds me of ripe oranges, then some toasted almonds leaning almost into a nougat. With water it’s much sweeter, with some cherries and milk chocolate.

Palate

Naturally very spicy without water with some deeper sherry notes emerging: a touch of rubber and burnt sugar, alongside plump raisins, and almonds again. With water, notes of fruitcake.

Finish

A nice dark-chocolate bitterness here — much more balanced with water.
