Another delicate dram that will prove divisive, but it’s kept me interested.

Nose: Kiwi fruit, white grape juice, and fresh strawberry. Boot wax. Pine nuts and shelled and roasted peanuts. A whiff of green banana. Orange and lemon boiled candies. Creamy porridge with honey. Fresh apricot.

Palate: Light-medium bodied. Orange and lemon Fox’s Glacier Fruits, fresh peach, clementine juice, and a touch of Werther’s Original.

Finish: Medium-short, on butterscotch.

Comment: Another delicate dram that will prove divisive, but it’s kept me interested.

Taster

Nose: Fresh sweetcorn, digestive biscuit, and a little rapeseed oil. Hints of wood varnish, cedar, and scented candle. A little blackberry, with dandelion and burdock drink.

Palate: Light-medium. Blackcurrant and raspberry, with more dandelion and burdock and a hint of vanilla ice cream. A slight mechanical oily note. A little dark chocolate, violet, and woody cinnamon.

Finish: Medium, on the dark fruits and chocolate, with a hint of tahini.

Comment: There was a lot of warm depth hidden in this. A lovely sipper.
