Nose

Oaky and nutty. Dry walnut. Coffee beans. Hint of liquorice.

Palate

Soft and velvety. The same nutty character with candied orange. Nutmeg and star anise. A definite sherry influence. More liquorice.

Finish

Still sweet but lingering a dry oak note.

Comment

An enticing whisky. Rich without ostentation, sweet without excess. With a luscious nutty finish. I’d love it with coffee.
