Tasting Notes

Nose

Rich, rooty smoky - plenty of liquorice and tar then iris. Rich, dusty and slightly earthy in a pleasant fashion. Intriguing.

Palate

Expansive. Quite oily and tongue coating but there's a slightly maritime edge to the flavours before a succulent and deep fat fruitiness fills out the midpalate. The fishy smoke returns.

Finish

Rich, smoked and long.

Comment

Lovely tussle between the two elements. A lot of fun.
