Tasting Notes

Nose

Pungent and raw, Tequila-esque pulped white, agave-like fruit, earth and light tarry peat notes. Quite alcoholic but water freshens and brings out some lightly perfumed estery fruit and herbal notes.

Palate

Opens with sweet barley but the youthful spirit and alcohol halts the sweet progression. Again hints of pulped white fruit, tar and peat. Water sets the sweetness free but makes it a little simpler but fuller.

Finish

Mouth-watering and alcoholic neat, diluted it’s quite dry and mineral fresh.

Comment

Tricky to draw a conclusion.
