Not a sample I warmed too. Too thin and the flavours just not well balanced enough for me.

Tasting Notes

Taster

Nose: Apple strudel, pear drops and sweet white wine; there isn’t a huge amount going on here behind the icing sugar dusting of a nose.

Palate: The palate gives salted almonds, grape juice, grapefruit pith and a hint of coal dust; quite cold and one dimensional, it was hard to get too much from \nthis sample.\n

Finish: Grapefruit, kiwi and limes. Ash.\n

Comment: Not a sample I warmed too. Too thin and the flavours just not well balanced enough for me.

Score: 7.2

Taster

Nose: Pungent and raw, Tequila-esque pulped white, agave-like fruit, earth and light tarry peat notes. Quite alcoholic but water freshens and brings out some lightly perfumed estery fruit and herbal notes.

Palate: Opens with sweet barley but the youthful spirit and alcohol halts the sweet progression. Again hints of pulped white fruit, tar and peat. Water sets the sweetness free but makes it a little simpler but fuller.

Finish: Mouth-watering and alcoholic neat, diluted it’s quite dry and mineral fresh.

Comment: Tricky to draw a conclusion.
