Nose
Apricot yoghurt, honey-coated muesli with candied peanut and applesauce. Yolky crème brûlée (yet to be fired), with nutmeg, Swedish cardamom custard buns and beeswax. Some ephemeral red berry notes, too.
Palate
Medium bodied and concentrated. Baked red apple, orange oils, candied almond and vanilla sponge with a damson plum jam.
Finish
Medium-long. The red apple and candied almond notes linger to the end.
Comment
A very mature, well-balanced and well-integrated blended malt.
