There is a trick here ! Can’t be a whisky. A whiskey liqueur for sure. So hard to score. Would be pleasant on ice. So, this is it, Drambuie!

Tasting Notes

Martine Nouet

Taster

Nose: Cypress resin. Unusual scents. More balsamic than oaky. In the back grassy notes. Hint of cereal. The fruit aromas slowly emerge. Dark berries.

Palate: Very sweet. Thick, syrupy. That must be a liqueur ! Keeps sweet all the way but a spice note in the back.

Finish: Sweet, vanishing.

Comment: There is a trick here ! Can’t be a whisky. A whiskey liqueur for sure. So hard to score. Would be pleasant on ice. So, this is it, Drambuie!

Taster

Nose: A very aromatic profile, citrus spice, almost Raz el Hanout. Then sticky sweetness, butterscotch, runny honey and some fruit notes.

Palate: Velvet and a little sticky. There is a citrus tang follwed by warming hints of butterscotch and spices.

Finish: Herbal and sweet.

Comment: Ah I see, liqueur, time to make a Rusty Nail or something.
