Nose: Assertively aromatic.

Palate: Starts syrupily malty, becoming drier and flowery, with a hint of late dusty peat.

Finish: Light but lingering.

Comment: An excellent aperitif malt.

Palate: Fish-oily, sweet and shapeless.

Finish: Some maltiness survives at the inelegant finale.

Comment: Pretty unpleasant.
