Nose: A little closed. Light with some fruity sweetness '

Palate: Better than the nose, quite liquorice. Smooth with decent balance.

Finish: Cranberry jelly.

Comment: Insubstantial.

Nose: A sweet, perfumed cakiness, like a Battenburg or a sweet sponge. Treacle. Sweet egginess, like a custard tart or scambled egg even. Stewed plums or stewed rhubarb.

Palate: Very sweet and then grassy.

Finish: A little burnt caramel.

Comment: Pleasant, sweet and light in character despite its deep colour.
