Kate Portman (nee Ennis)

Taster

Nose: Bourbon notes combined with more fragrant cedar wood. There are also hints of cloves and cinnamon.

Palate: Very fruity to begin with berry flavours, with echoes of port, then the sweet spice comes through. It's assertive but not aggressive.

Finish: Long and warming, with spice and zesty orange peel.

Comment: A wonderfully complex dram for contemplation.
