Nose
Sweet. Creamy fudge. Buttery too. White chocolate. A hint of coconut. Tinned peaches.
Palate
Sweet and flowing like silk. Then at mid-palate, you feel the oak grip but not aggressive.
Finish
Astringent, dry. Artichoke leaf in the back.
Comment
A good example of Bourbon cask maturation (a refill ?). There is a constant bitterness but it is quite refreshing, like a grapefruit. A few drops of water bring out a sweet note.
