Taster

Nose: A gentle, clean smoke. Cut grass and eucalyptus oil. Sweet iced biscuits. Water takes me to the sea shore with spray in my face.

Palate: A puff of ashy smoke at the front and then oyster shell. Angelica, salted lemons and lime juice. It tastes green?

Finish: A clean mouthfeel with lingering menthol.

Nose: Phenolic. Creosote. Farmyard. Wet straw. Wet seaweeds (the sweet green ones like sea-lettuce). Shellfish, scallops.

Palate: Sweet and smoky. Oily. Raw scallops. Vanilla syrup. A hint of citrus (lemon juice). Refreshing. Star anise as well.

Finish: Dry with a dusty feel. Hint of soot.

Comment: A sweet mariner. Perfect for matching with a sea platter for lunch.
