Nose
Light and gentle at first, then slowly this huge meaty, sherry, and a little sulphury, element starts to unfurl. Becomes like a bag of compost – sweet, earthy and mulchy. Banana bread and plum jam.
Palate
Those sherry notes dominate. But also a nutty, praline, hazelnut nougat side comes through. Then sweetness of salt caramel ice cream, and some mango kulfi.
Finish
Great mouth-puckering spicy tannins here, together with the sweetness of plum jam.
Comment
A great little sherry bomb here, huge nutty and sherry notes.
