Nose
Waxy appleskins, mango lassi and pineapple cubes. Watermelon sweets. Hot summer fields, and sun-baked wood.
Palate
Toffeeish, fruity and oaky. That watermelon seemed to come back.
Finish
Dry grassiness.
Comment
Stood up well in a tasting with lots of old whisky. Another of the un-sung distilleries that made an engaging spirit.
