Taster

Nose: Lovely jammy sweetness of summer berries. Then apples cooked with butter and cinnamon, and crisp pastry. Seeded sourdough. A little ground coriander seed and chalky walnut. Peach schnapps.

Palate: Medium. Salted butter and sourdough. Juicy fresh peach and pear, burrata, and caramelised brown sugar. Sticky fruit loaf with crystallised ginger. Peanut brittle and toasted coconut shavings.

Finish: Medium-long, on fruit cake and syrupy peaches. Ends with caraway seed.

Comment: A lovely mix of sweet peach and rich fruitcake.
