Big and punchy for sure, the nose doesn’t show the ABV, but the palate certainly does. Lovely.

Tasting Notes

Taster

Nose: Big, huge and pretty powerful, full on fresh oak and rich creamy coffee. Underneath there’s more sweetness with maple syrup and caramel pennies.

Palate: Pretty big again and punchy, the alcohol hits home. Intense flavours of oak, caramel pennies, milk chocolate and apple pie with powdered cinnamon.

Finish: That spiced heat lingers like chilli oil. The oak grips and goes on for ages.

Comment: Big and punchy for sure, the nose doesn’t show the ABV, but the palate certainly does. Lovely.

Taster

Nose: A serious nasal workout, with sea salt and cider crisps, cola cubes, acrylic paint and roasted pistachios. Pumpkin pie, steamed milk and peanut butter develop over time.

Palate: Surprisingly there are floral notes of lavender, parma violets and rose water at the forefront that heat up into notes of tobacco syrup, candied jalapeños and rosemary roast potatoes.

Finish: A hot and floral explosion, a buttery texture creating length.

Comment: At Grandma’s house for Sunday roast and Turkish Delight.
