Nose: Red cherries dipped in dark chocolate, oak-smoked salmon, prosciutto, figs soaked in honey; rose water and toasty oak.
Palate: Turkish delight initially with toasty oak and a cinnamon and nutmeg spice grip. Warm toast with butter and apricot jam.
Finish: Fruity and spicy leaving a lasting spice prickle too.
Comment: A spice bomb of a Bourbon with gorgeous jammy and toasty notes, rose water complexity and balanced sweetness.

Taster
Nose: Sweet menthol, like peppermint candy canes or mint cookies, with a nutty, earthy breadiness, gingerbread, freshly baked croissants and light caramel.
Palate: Peppermint again, more mint cookies. Apple pie with warm caramel sauce and ice cream sprinkled with chopped hazelnuts, cinnamon and ginger spice to keep the tongue buzzing. There’s a grassy element too.
Finish: Buttered toast with a minty freshness.
Comment: Layered and exciting, with a new surprise waiting for you in every sip.
Score: 9.2
