Nose

Buttered popcorn and a hint of bonfire ash. Iced gems, white chocolate, and whipped vanilla cream. Dried apple rings and a little sawdust.

Palate

Light-medium bodied. Vanilla Genoese sponge cake with honey and flaked almonds. A little nutmeg and clove. Fresh mint and celery tops. Tart stewed apples and rhubarb with custard.

Finish

Medium, with green apple skins and cream crackers, then lingering on creamy hazelnuts.

Comment

A pleasant whisky that doesn’t ask too much of you to enjoy it. I respect that.
