Could almost mistake this for a Bourbon at first, but then becomes unmistakably Scotch.

Nose: ig and bold straight off, cherries in brandy, oranges dipped in dark chocolate and dusty bookshelves. Hot buttered corn as well.
Palate: That cherry note continues with a little hint of menthol too. There’s a spicy side here as well, candied ginger, chilli honey and cracked black pepper.
Finish: That chilli heat comes through at first then it quickly turns to sweetness.
Comment: Could almost mistake this for a Bourbon at first, but then becomes unmistakably Scotch.

Nose: Oodles of citrus. Orange and lemon boiled sweets, the lemon even leaning as far as lemon syrup. There’s apple juice and pink grapefruit peel too. Under it all, a sweet maltiness and fresh-cut hay. Toffee popcorn and Rice Crispie squares.
Palate: Light and fruity. Plenty of that sweet citrus, definitely in Fox’s Glacier Fruits territory here. Clear apple juice, the long-life kind, and a gentle oakiness.
Finish: Remains juicy for a medium-length finish.
Comment: Fresh and very tasty.
