Nose
At first, so much buttery caramel sauce — I want to pour this on vanilla ice cream. There’s lots of rum-soaked raisins, some nougat, and almonds. With water, the aromas are similar, just not so intense.
Palate
Big and bold on the palate: lots of orange peel, plump raisins, toffee, and some coffee grounds. With water, some banana cake.
Finish
Mouth puckering without water, with more spice actually coming through when water is added.
Comment
Rich, intense, and loud.
