Nose

Butter mints — the nice creamy beige ones with dark stripes — immediately come to mind here. Then a little wood varnish, pain au raisin, and custard.

Palate

That butter mint continues onto the palate, before liquorice and candied pecans. It’s quite drying without water. That eases with a splash of water and more bakery notes emerge.

Finish

Fairly mouthcoating and a bit numbing without water.
