Nose: Gold. Richer than the standard with a hint of honey, fair maltiness, hay/biscuit and some oak.
Palate: A silky start with plenty of ripe soft fruit. Light and slightly frotht-like butterscotch Instant Whip.
Finish: Medium length, quite chewy though a little hot.
Comment: A decent enough dram, though not as formidable as the name suggests.

Taster
Nose: Toffee. Honey. Then peat
Palate: Lightly smooth. Silky. Somewhat empty.
Finish: Lemongrass. Lemon sherbet. Quite long.
Comment: Smooth and pleasant.
