Nose

A tempting nose of dusty cinnamon and maple syrup, candied fruits. Water brought out mocha with coffee syrup, raspberry leaf and ginger snap biscuits.

Palate

A distinctive blackcurrant pastille taste and salmiakk (salty liquorice) with a pithy tang like grapefruit at the back. A crisp woodiness with refreshing tarragon.

Finish

A liqueur like texture balanced by the nippy finish.

I loved the balance and texture. A great start to an evening as it wakes up your palate.
