Frisky to say the least! The palate is much more talkative and pleasant than the nose. Would be great in a granite with strawberries.

Nose: Tangy, quite spirity. Water releases tender fruity notes of ripe pear. Hint of fresh oak.
Palate: Very fruity. Reminds me of a pear eau-de-vie. Juicy. Vanilla. Unexpectedly soft on the palate.
Finish: Quickly fades, a slight bitterness.
Comment: Frisky to say the least! The palate is much more talkative and pleasant than the nose. Would be great in a granite with strawberries.

Nose: Young and clean. Light lemon, orange zest, cocoa, apricot. Harder edge with water (fishmonger's slab?).
Palate: Very citric with a smooth fruit syrup mouthfeel. Dries as it moves becoming bracken-like.
Finish: Dry. A little hot, even when dilute.
Comment: Has firm and sweet elements but they're not linked.
Score: 7.3
