Nose

Peppery rye bread, sweet vanilla, an array of spices including cinnamon studded apple and anise.

Palate

The rye note continues onto the palate, with a vanilla sweetness, some creamy cereal and more of the anise.

Finish

Once the spices and rye notes die away, the palate is left surprisingly fresh, with some lingering orchard fruit.

Comment

Pleasant, spicy and very drinkable indeed.
