Tasting Notes

Nose

Subtle at first but opens with time. Pearl barley, porridge with cream and honey, candied lemon peel, green apple skin, and ruby grapefruit. Lemon thyme, cup mushroom, and hazelnut.

Palate

Medium-full. Milk-chocolate wafer bar and milky coffee. Dark, spicy vanilla. Chewy cookie with caramel chunks. Lemon and sultana Chelsea bun. Crisp red apple. A little roasted plum, and tamarind.

Finish

Medium-long. Ground almond and green tea with honey.

Comment

Its honeyed colour indicates the well-balanced sweetness within.
