Nose

Baked apples and pears. Iced cardamom and cinnamon buns. Floral honey. A hint of dried mint. A very subtle medicinal note. Sugary raisin and ground almond.

Palate

Light-medium bodied. Some fruitcake notes of sweet baking spice and raisins, milky coffee, crème de mûre, and a hint of spicy red wine. Cress. Fabric plaster and candle wax.

Finish

Medium, on black tea and fruit scone.

Comment

There was an edge to this that I wasn’t quite sure about, but some nice fruity notes to be found.
