Certainly packs a punch in the heat department, but interwoven in that are some interesting aspects. Just prepare yourself for heat.

Tasting Notes

Taster

Nose: Fresh nectarine and peach slices, with mascarpone. Almost gets towards a parmesan note. Nutmeg and very dry sandalwood.

Palate: Oily, yet light. More fruit, with peaches in syrup, but with the addition of raisins, vanilla cream and anise. Creaminess is dried out by white pepper warmth.

Finish: A hint of orange marmalade emerges through the chilli heat.

Comment: Certainly packs a punch in the heat department, but interwoven in that are some interesting aspects. Just prepare yourself for heat.

Taster

Nose: A bit prickly. Pear drop, peach cordial, foam banana sweets, pencil shavings, and some flinty cut stone character. A touch of cake batter, dried apricot and heather. Chamomile tea and vanilla shake.

Palate: Very light bodied, but quite spiritous. Chamomile tea with lemon and honey. Clementine and strong roasted chestnut.

Finish: Pine nut, dries slightly, then ends on a sweet balsamic and orange oil note.

Comment: A few key, strong flavours, but quite hot, ephemeral and difficult to get at.
