Tasting Notes

Martine Nouet

Taster

Nose: Wood reluctantly gives way to fruity aromas. Wet cellar notes. Apricot skin, grape. Vanilla sweetness follows. Beeswax. Roasted coffee beans.

Palate: Round, leafy, malty. Sweetness all the way through.

Finish: Neat, rather dry and crisp. A touch of leaf bitterness.

Comment: A sweet, soft and mellow fruitiness. Too much is too much sometimes.

Score: 7.3

Palate: Well-balanced and on the soft light side with a soft vanilla undertow and that hint of light honey.

Finish: Short.

Comment: Approachable and pleasant but a tad bland.
