Tasting Notes

Nose

Cream soda, lime juice and Advocaat. White grape and elderflower cordial. Waxed Granny Smith apple. Butter shortbread with hard-set icing and raspberry jam – we’re in Empire biscuit territory.

Palate

Medium bodied. Eve’s pudding (caramelised apple upside-down cake), Curly Wurly (milk chocolate–coated toffee), roasted chestnut and shiitake mushroom. A little pork crackling coats the mouth, too.

Finish

Medium. The apple, milk chocolate and caramel linger.

Comment

A really solid Speysider.
