Nose: Fruity. Citrussy. Olde English Marmalade. Apples steeped in caramel. Star fruit.

Palate: Silky. Slowly opening on pastry flavours. Watermelon. Almond cake. Beautiful mouthfeel.

Finish: Long, spicy. Ginger and chilli. A soothing almond milk aftertaste.

Comment: A well-balanced dram. Nothing lacking, nothing too much. Just pleasant.

Nose: Malty, cereal, lightly honeyed. Light with toasted almond, nougat, wholemeal bread, light earth, cut grass.

Palate: Round but firm, a surge of initial maltiness softens into green pear, green walnut, mandarin.

Finish: Dry and clean.

Comment: Another good session dram.
